The Chronicles of Gartrex Spinks Coming soon…

The ground began to crack and shards of obsidian exploded piercing over 80 innocent transient beings.  The amount of blood and carnage were antagonizing at best.  I started to get my footing and took out my saber; snapping it with a violent motion to the left and it engaged at full power.  I pulled out an 8-inch piece of obsidian out of my left cheek and grimaced before my rage came to a full-blown tantrum.  I swung the saber in a counter clockwise fashion and began lunging towards the tall Grey in front of me.  I easily decapitated this being.

Within moments several ships started to leave the area.  In a moment of anticipation one more shot came down from overhead lighting up the night sky.  The missile was a shade of bluish white.  In the bluish tint in the sky line you could see the missile come close and pulsate out in an electrical force I had not seen since my time fighting the Draconian Elementals on Doiron the moon in the Orion star system.  Within a few seconds the bluish white blasted in the distance leaving me to run violently towards an opening in the planets crust.  I barely made it out alive.  From the distance I could hear the sounds of my father’s voice, the first time in a long time I heard that beautiful tone.  As quick and clear as I heard my father’s voice, it was gone; as was the sky line of Proxima.  The explosion went outward with a massive force and then collapsed upon itself in an instant wiping clear over a thousand small communities of the Humans that had colonized the region.  Not a sound could be heard after this event.  My heart sank knowing that my human sister might have been in the firing line of this super weapon of the Grey’s.

As I cleared my face from the debris of ash and fine particles of obsidian that had been destroyed in the attack, I yelled as loud as I could, “You mother fuckers have not seen the last of Gartrex Spinks.”  I then collapsed to the ground.  I had lost the battle, but I had not lost the war on this night.  Vengeance would be mine once again.  I could hear my father Chaz over and over in my mind, “It will be alright buddy, it will be alright, damnit quit worrying about it, I will always be proud of you!”

Gartrex looked down with his eyes tearing up again.  It had been months since he had had encountered the clues to his father’s whereabouts and who was holding his father hostage.  He now felt a stronger resolve to free his father from the depths of the darkness that had consumed him.
